Oslo Fjord Cruise
One of the activities that is a must do when visiting Oslo, Norway during the summer is cruising at the Oslo fjords. Nothing beats the clean and fresh air, beautiful sunset and breath-taking sceneries of Oslo fjords. It's interesting how you can enjoy these right in the middle of the city!
Another thing I like in Norway is that you can see boats of different kinds everywhere, either private owned or for public use. There are various choices you can do with their boat tour services. You can go on Island Hopping in the Oslo fjord using the regular ticket you use for the tbane (metro-train), go on a sightseeing boat tour, have a Norwegian dinner (prawns) in the Oslo fjord cruise, fjord taxi for sightseeing and fishing trips, and many more. For a detailed information on the activities and tickets, check boat trips
There are several trips you can choose from. As you can see in the pictures here, it's evening and the name of the trip is called the Norwegian Evening on the Fjord cruise. The boats depart from Aker Brygge or City Hall Pier 3 and you can also buy the ticket in their ticket office by the pier. The cost of the ticket is 395kr (NOK) for the Norwegian Summer Evening.
This is the typical dinner in the boat.
I really had a great time at this trip, so I recommend it not just for those who are visiting Oslo but everyone living nearby who wants to unwind or enjoy the mother nature. And of course, if you just feel like to be in the boat for a short trip, this is an awesome getaway. Likewise, this activity is also perfect for photographers or anyone who wants to get beautiful pictures of Oslo fjords. Watching the sunset here was just so stunning that you too should see it for yourself 😉
